Bulldog 4-4-0 3399 ‘Ottawa’ entering the station with a stopping train consisting of a GWR B-Set, Fruit Van and ex-LNWR Brake/1st/3rd (through coach Liverpool-Southampton). Engine could do with a dusting (or I could eradicate the woodworm in the garage roof).

4815 on the autotrain to Evesham and 4510 hauling a Southern Railway banana van and a B Set on a Cheltenham service. The tree shadows on the scenic backdrop remind me that I must sort the layout’s lighting out.

3714 on a Birmingham express

3714 heads up a north-bound express. the first coach (yet another new purchase) is an ex-Midland Railway non-corridor lavatory third, providing a through Southampton-Sheffield service, This is a throwback to the through coaches that were typical of the M&SWJR North and South Expresses.
